Understanding Your Stats

P&L (Profit & Loss)

Your P&L is calculated as:

Long: (Exit Price - Entry Price) × Shares
Short: (Entry Price - Exit Price) × Shares

Realized P&L: From closed trades (actual money made/lost) Unrealized P&L: From open positions (paper gains/losses)

Win Rate

Win Rate = Winning Trades / Total Closed Trades × 100

A "win" is any trade with positive P&L. Industry benchmark: - 40-50%: Acceptable (if winners are larger than losers) - 50-60%: Good - 60%+: Excellent

What's a Good Profit Factor?

Profit Factor = Total Profits / Total Losses
Profit Factor Interpretation
< 1.0 Losing money overall
1.0 - 1.5 Break-even to slightly profitable
1.5 - 2.0 Good performance
2.0+ Excellent performance
