Save and manage your portfolio allocations for easy access and comparison.
What Are Saved Portfolios?
Saved portfolios store: - Target allocations - Your desired asset weights - Optimization results - From the Portfolio Optimizer - Rebalance plans - Calculated trade recommendations - Portfolio metadata - Name, description, created date
Viewing Saved Portfolios
- Go to Saved Portfolios from the sidebar
- See a list of all your saved portfolios
- Each card shows:
- Portfolio name
- Number of assets
- Expected return / risk
- Date created
Creating a Saved Portfolio
From Portfolio Optimizer
- Run an optimization
- Click Save Portfolio
- Enter a name (e.g., "Tech Growth Portfolio")
- Add optional description
- Click Save
From Rebalance Tool
- Set your target allocation
- Click Save as Portfolio
- Name and save
Manual Creation
- Go to Saved Portfolios
- Click + New Portfolio
- Enter assets and target weights
- Save

Click on any saved portfolio to see:

Managing Portfolios
Edit Portfolio
- Open the portfolio
- Click Edit
- Modify allocations
- Click Save Changes
Duplicate Portfolio
- Open the portfolio
- Click Duplicate
- Rename the copy
- Make modifications
Delete Portfolio
- Open the portfolio
- Click Delete
- Confirm deletion
Note: Deletion is permanent.
Using Saved Portfolios
Apply to Rebalance
- Open a saved portfolio
- Click Rebalance
- Enter current holdings
- Calculate required trades
Compare Portfolios
- Select multiple portfolios (checkboxes)
- Click Compare
- See side-by-side metrics:
- Return vs. Risk scatter plot
- Allocation pie charts
- Performance comparison
Export Portfolio
- Open the portfolio
- Click Export
- Choose format:
- CSV - Spreadsheet compatible
- PDF - Printable report
- JSON - For programmatic use
Portfolio Templates
Pre-built portfolio templates to get started:

Using a Template
- Go to Saved Portfolios
- Click Templates
- Select a template
- Click Use This Template
- Customize as needed
Sharing Portfolios
Generate Share Link
- Open the portfolio
- Click Share
- Copy the link
- Send to others
Note: Shared portfolios are view-only.
Import Shared Portfolio
- Click the shared link
- Click Import to My Portfolios
- The portfolio is added to your account
Organization Tips
- Use descriptive names - "Retirement 2045" not "Portfolio 1"
- Add descriptions - Note your strategy and goals
- Group by purpose - Growth, income, speculation
- Archive old portfolios - Don't delete, rename with "Archive:"
- Review periodically - Update allocations as goals change
